Mitigating emissions through Carbon Capture and Storage (CCUS)

The event presented the report produced in partnership by CEBRI and EPE, with funding from Norway, on the use of CCUS in Brazil, considering the lessons learned from the Norwegian experience and other success stories. The aim of the report is to understand the impact of this practice on reducing emissions linked to fossil fuel production. Hosted at the Norwegian embassy, the meeting aimed to promote debate on this practice in Brazilian oil production and assess the potential for expansion in Brazil and as a good practice for the oil exploration market as a whole.
