On March 28, 2022, the Brazilian Center for International Relations (CEBRI) received a visit from Rebecca Reichmann Tavares, President and CEO of BrazilFoundation, at CEBRI’s headquarters in Gávea, Rio de Janeiro, to discuss possibilities for partnerships, common agendas, and female leadership in diplomacy and international careers. Julia Dias Leite, CEBRI’s CEO, and Carla Duarte, CEBRI’s Director of External Relations, participated at the meeting.
Rebecca Reichmann Tavares worked under the United Nations Secretary General as interim Executive Coordinator of the Every Woman Every Child initiative. As a UN diplomat, she served as Regional Representative with UN Women in Latin America and South Asia for nearly ten years.
