On September 5th, the Brazilian Center for International Relations (CEBRI), Institute for Climate and Society (iCS), WINGS, and other partner institutions will present a White Paper and a workshop on the collaboration between philanthropy and Public Development Banks at the Finance In Common Summit, which will be taking place in Cartagena, Colombia.
The workshop “Public Banks and Philanthropies in Blended Finance: Unlocking Green Investments“ focuses on the opportunities and challenges for using blended finance mechanisms that combine private, philanthropic and public capital to invest in green growth and climate action in the short, medium and long terms. A proposed Road Map promotes collaboration between Public Development Banks and Philanthropy, especially in the Global South.
