CEBRI and Amcham Brazil stage a debate on the US presidential elections

In the context of the upcoming US presidential elections, to be held on November 5, the North America Program of CEBRI and AMCHAM Brazil promoted the event "US Election: Campaigns, Polls and Next Steps" on August 26.

The debate included the participation of Senior Fellow and AMCHAM Brasil CEO Abrão Neto, and representatives of strategic institutions for the analysis of US domestic and international policies, such as CEBRI Senior Fellow and FAAP professor Fernanda Magnotta, Eurasia Group Executive Director for the Americas Christopher Garman and Americas Quarterly Editor-in-Chief Brian Winter.

Mediated by the Director of Public Policy and Government Relations at AMCHAM, Fabrizio Panzini, the experts also identified possible electoral trends based on the general polls, comparing the campaign proposals of the Democratic and Republican parties, and examined the influence of the “Swing States” on voting decisions, the vice-presidential candidacies, and the impacts of the US electoral process on Brazil's politics and economy.
