Working lunch with a delegation from the Spanish Ministry of Foreign Affairs

The Brazilian Center for International Relations (CEBRI) received the Vice-Minister of State for Ibero-America and the Caribbean and Spanish Language in the World of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs, European Union and Cooperation of Spain, Susana Sumelzo Jordán , accompanied by José Luís García Galán and Guillermo Escribano Manzano , also representatives of the Ministry.

The meeting was attended by Ambassador João Luis de Barros Pereira Pinto , from the Brazilian Ministry of Foreign Affairs, and members of the Board of Trustees and Directors of CEBRI: Armando Mariante , Ambassador Roberto Jaguaribe , José Pio Borges , Julia Dias Leite , Ambassador Antônio Souza e Silva , Manoel Corrêa do Lago , Hussein Kalout , Ronaldo Veirano and Luciana Gama Muniz .

The dialogue addressed the prospects for bilateral relations between Brazil and the European Union, with an emphasis on the current geopolitical scenario and its implications for international trade. Discussions included strategic adjustments to Brazilian trade policy, the country's repositioning in global markets, and the impacts of recent tariff changes in the United States, as well as the importance of deepening Brazil-EU cooperation in the face of emerging challenges and opportunities.

CEBRI remains committed to promoting spaces for qualified dialogue capable of strengthening Brazil's international integration and fostering partnerships on strategic issues for national development.
