Marcio Kahn has more than 25 years of experience in the oil and gas industry. He began his career in the E&P area of Petrobras, with experience in the areas of strategic planning, portfolio management, partnerships, economic analysis, monitoring and control. Marcio also worked as a consultant and held several management positions.

From 2020 to 2024, he has held the role of Executive Manager of the Búzios Asset, world´s largest deep water oil field. In this position he was responsible for leading the design, implementation and operation activities of the megaprojects that make up the development of the Búzios field.

Since November 2024, he has been engaged in Mergers and Acquisitions, with a focus on Energy Transition and renewable energy projects.

He is a civil and production engineer graduated from PUC-Rio, the same institution where he completed his master's degree in Industrial Engineering. He also has a postgraduate degree in E&P Management from IBP, an MBA in Finance from COPPEAD/UFRJ and completed executive and leadership training courses at Harvard Business School, in the USA and INSEAD, in France.
