Igor Marchesini is an engineer, entrepreneur, and technology advisor. He currently focuses on the intersection of Artificial Intelligence, Public Policy, and Economic Development.

Between 2024 and 2026, he led the agendas for artificial intelligence, data centers, and digital transformation at Brazil’s Ministry of Finance, serving as Special Advisor to Minister Fernando Haddad. Previously, he built the Brazilian operation of the fintech SumUp and founded the healthtech Melvi, after spending seven years at the consulting firm Bain & Company. He holds a degree in Electrical Engineering from UFBA and an MBA from Stanford.
