The roundtable will explore how Amazonian cities can become strategic platforms for sustainable development, investment, and the bioeconomy, while showcasing URBEM’s Urbanized Forest (Floresta Urbanizada) project, which views the Amazon as an interconnected territorial system where cities, infrastructure, governance, and economic networks play a central role in shaping both development outcomes and forest conservation.
