On October 27, CEBRI will host the "China's Future: Unraveling China's Ways" course with expert David Shambaugh, professor at George Washington University. The course will address issues such as Chinese politics, economics and foreign affairs, global governance, military might and security, and the One Belt and One Road Initiative.

David Shambaugh is the Director of the China Policy Program and Professor of Political Science and International Relations at the Elliott School of International Affairs at George Washington University. He was editor of The China Quarterly, the leading magazine specializing in Chinese themes. He served in the US government at the State Department and the National Security Council, directed the Woodrow Wilson Center Asia Program, and taught in Australia, China, Singapore, Hong Kong, India, Italy, Japan, Russia and Taiwan. Furthermore, he is the author of more than 30 books on contemporary China and Asia's international relations.
