Climate Obstruction: A Global Assessment

As climate action intensifies and becomes more globalized, efforts to obstruct it have become more widespread, well-funded, and dangerous. "Climate obstruction" refers to the blocking of climate change policies that are grounded in scientific consensus—such as obstruction efforts carried out by certain fossil fuel, energy, transportation, and agribusiness companies, as well as by communication and public relations agencies and radical conservative organizations. The event aims to discuss ways to counter climate obstruction, including regulation, legal action, and civil society movements.
